Terrains Vagues

Terrains Vagues explores the quiet tension between human intervention and natural reclamation. Working in oil on canvas and watercolour, Ant Pipe responds to landscapes shaped by human hands and then left to find their own way back. What remains is neither wholly natural nor wholly made. These are paintings of threshold spaces, of what lingers, what weathers, what slowly disappears. There is loss here, and there is beauty in it.
